ECOLOGICAL ASPECT:
Roadsides, rocky places and near cultivated fields, altitude up to 2000 m.S. irio seems to be capable of growing under a wide range of conditions, provided that its seeds can germinate in full sun and without the hindrance of overlying vegetation.
